By Tram 30 minutes (the easiest option):

  • Hop on the Edinburgh Trams straight from the airport.
  • Stay on until St Andrew Square (around 35 minutes).
  • When you step off, walk south across St Andrew Square.
  • Turn right onto South Saint Andrew Street.
  • Walk for about 1 minute and you will find TARKA on your left-hand side.

Don’t forget to get your Tram ticket before you board.

By Taxi:

  • A taxi takes around 25–30 minutes, depending on traffic.
  • Simply ask for South Saint Andrew Street, just off St Andrew Square.

You’ll be dropped almost at the door.

We are practically neighbours.

  • Exit the station via Princes Street.
  • Turn left and walk east along Princes Street.
  • After about 5 minutes, turn left onto South Saint Andrew Street.
  • Walk uphill slightly and you will find TARKA on your right.

Total walking time: around 7 minutes at an easy pace.

Q-Park St James Quarter (very close)
  • Park at Q-Park St James Quarter.
  • Exit on foot towards St Andrew Square.
  • Walk across the square and turn right onto South Saint Andrew Street.
  • You’ll find TARKA just a short stroll down on the left.

Walking time: 5 minutes

  • Exit the car park and walk towards Princes Street.
  • Head east along Princes Street.
  • Turn left onto South Saint Andrew Street.
  • Continue for a few minutes and TARKA will be on your right.
  • Walking time: 10–12 minutes.
If you find yourself circling St Andrew Square wondering which way is up (it happens to the best of us), you’re close. South Saint Andrew Street runs directly off the square, once you’re on it, we’re just a few steps away.
